Maui County Community nonprofits and other entities have received grants from various foundations and organizations.
Among the award-giving bodies is the Weinberg Foundation. They have given their AIM for Excellence award along with a $5,000 grant to Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Resource Center.
The awward will be used for the center's Money Magic financial-education program to help people establish good credit ratings.
